Civic Seminars

Workshops aimed to equip people with a strategy to shape their community. There are many ways to impact your community. Not all are political. We hope to help people explore what type of involvement works best for them. All seminars are free and open to all who are interested and able.

General Seminars

General Seminars are workshops designed to equip residents with the skills, knowledge, and practice necessary for them to become engaged and confident citizens of their towns and communities. While these are hosted in partnership with local commmunity organizations, they are hosted online and are open and welcome to participants from all locations. Seminars span 14 workshops and include topics covering government, community organizing, elections, methods of involvement, and civic skills. These seminars also include a guided Civic Experience where participants can work together to pursue a community or policy project of their own.
